Hi, I’m Grant Signorini

At the age of 30 – with a fruitful corporate career ahead of me – I decided to quit.

For me, life is too precious to waste doing work that one doesn’t find fulfilling.

People may spend their whole lives climbing the ladder of success only to find, once they reach the top, that the ladder is leaning against the wrong wall.

Like many people though, I’m not exactly clear on the work I want to pursue.

What next? I’m going to go travelling to find myself! Ok Ok – I’m just kidding. But I do believe travelling, and getting away from my hometown (and the external influences), will help me become truer to myself.

So that’s what I’m going to spend the foreseeable future doing – travelling.

If you’re thinking about quitting your job, you’re probably experiencing all the fears I did! I decided to quit a long time ago, but it took me a long time to actually do it! What’s worse though – quitting and having to go back to similar work, or never quitting, and wondering – what if?

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.

This blog will essentially be a journal. I’ll share my thoughts and experiences as I travel, as well as sharing where I’m at on my personal journey to finding fulfilling work.

If you’re in work that you find unfulfilling, and want to make a transformation, follow along and see what the journey entails.

Or maybe you just want to learn more about what trekking in Chile is like – you’ll find that here too (if I ever make it … damn COVID-19).
